Glory in the Flower (Ode: Immitations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood written by William Wordsworth)

What though radiance which was once so bright,
be forever taken from my sight.

Though nothing can bring back the hour;
of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower.

We will greive not, rather find,
strength in what remains behind.

In primal sympathy
which having been must ever be;

In soothing thoughts that spring
out of human suffering.

                             -Willaim Wordsworth

        An amazing poet, William Wordsworth was. A poem that brings life out of death, and happiness out of sorrow. Words that would never be put in the same sentence have been by William Wordsworth.

       The first time I heard this poem I was watching a tv show. I went totally looney until I searched it up online, saving my mind scaring and damage. See what powerful words can do to you.

  1. These words are powerful, I agree Lejla. The poems and quotes help to lift people's spirits. Life's challenges wouldn't be so fun without great friends to share them. Thank you for sharing these powerful words they give off some inspiration!

    I like this one by Harriet Beecher O, with what freshness,
    what solemnity and beauty,
    is each new day born;
    as if to say to insensate man,
    'Behold!
    thou hast one more chance!
    Strive for immortal glory!'
